In this online class, students will bring one poem to class, which over four-weeks will receive three-different styles of feedback: first, a group discussion-based workshop focused on description; second, a one-on-one meeting with facilitator and poet Jos Charles on revision and practice; and, lastly, a more casual reading-session with group generative feedback and reading (and other media) recommendations. The aim of this workshop is to both refine a single poem while reading it as an entry to the student’s writing practice.
